Enjoyed your website - interesting that I have the ability to communicate with you in this fashion decades later -- In the 80's we were just beginning to dream about the internet. Immensely enjoyed Escape...and the Return to Witch Mountain movies. Now I'm sharing them with my young children. So glad to hear that your work continues and it sounds as if your professional/personal life is quite gratifying. Well done! Best of luck!

What can I say? The WITCH MOUNTAIN films really struck a nerve of imagination in me and I am sure many other children from the 1970's. Many of Disney's films inspired us to read, draw and create. Great jobs to both Ike and Kim, picking up the DVD and listening to the commentary was almost like seeing a lost piece of a treasured puzzle. Best of luck in the future and all your professional and personal projects and next time your are in NYC or New Jersey, you and Kim should REALLY come to the annual CHILLER convention, you would have a blast!
Thanks!

And of course, those Witch Mountain movies!! Too bad you and Kim couldn't do another movie. I'm sure your fans would go for it!! I know I would!!! Good luck with your directing and other projects!! Dear Ike well Believe it or not the Film that I remember the most was "The Amazing Awareness Of Duffy Moon, Which I identified with at the time being small in stature, it was quite comical in places but also had a good message 'YOU CAN DO IT DUFFY MOON' so when thing get tough this phrase sometimes pops into my head Ha! Ha! I also used to enjoy 'The Fantastic Journey' shown early evening in the U.K. also with the late Roddy McDowell, well wish you & yours all the very best Bob Crysell. U.K.

Hello!
your movies in the 70's and 80's were pretty good especially the Escape to Witches Mountain and Return to Witches Mountain. I really loved the story of the first one. The first time I couldn't watch it all though because my parent's wanted to take me out, but it was on TV on Sunday on Disney. It was waaaaaaaaaaaaayy too good.
I look forward to seeing more films of the Witches Mountain series, and if you make another one I'd be W-A-N-T-I-N-G to see it!
Regards,
Sirani

What a wonderful find. I used to be - still am - a huge fan of Ike's as a kid. I'm 8 months younger by the looks of it. I loved Fantastic Journey and just got hooked on him. Far better than the british actors around at the time. Also have happy memories of going to see @Return from Witch Mountain' five times in five days - saw every screening there was at this little cinema that no longer exists. My biggest heartfelt wishes to Ike - or is it Lake now? - and to his missus. No kids yet? Many thanks for an enhanced and enchanted childhood I now findly cherish and can incorporate into my happy life!

Great site - Ike, thanks for all the wonderful roles and memories. I just viewed the "Escape.." DVD for the first time, and felt absolutely compelled to thank you, and confirm your observation on children responding to the sense of empowerment over their situations... and yet, even more, for I realised while watching what was happening to me as an adult. Having gone through an insane few years of unemployment, a dear friend dying from lymphoma, a threatened foreclosure on a parent's home, and all the assorted lesser evils which tend to chip away at hope and expectation.... as I watched the movie I was being mentally, subconsciously reminded of my thoughts when I saw the film in 1975. That sense of empowerment coming through the identification with young Tony (and Tia!)*still* works, and darnitall if it doesn't make it a bit easier to keep hoping, keep trying, and plugging on through to a better day. Some magic never dies, and adults can yet see through the wonderous, hopeful eyes of youth; Thank you, for being part of this, reminding us it is possible, and for just being your kindly, wonderful self.

Good endures, in such unpredictable, unfathomable, incredible ways. Be good. Be well!

All the best,
W.R.White

I felt like I grew up with them since I had seen the original releases of Witch Mountain at the theatre. I always liked to see them in subsequent movies or television shows. They are both very talented people. I purchased the Return to Witch Mountain DVD, and loved it. I especially loved the commentaries by Ike and Kim. The movie brought back fun memories! Keep up the good work with the site! Good luck to Ike, his family and puppy!

Better still , I watched the "Making The Escape" in the bonus section of the DVD. Iake, you stated something that I had spent my whole life remembering. . .that I wanted to be as special as Tony and Tia. When I was a child I wanted to be Tony (with harmonica). . Yes, you are special and made me feel special
Thank you for the films, and thank you for sharing that particular moment on the DVD. Many many thanks, Iake

Wanted to let you know how much I loved the "Witch Mountain" movies as a kid and I watched them over and over. Now, I have two children, a daughter who is 7 and a son who is 4 and bought them the DVDs. I find that they watch the movies over and over as well now, and it just feels so good to be able to share such a wonderful pair of movies with such great people acting in them with my own children. I'm 27 now and involved in a couple of Disney message boards, on of which has a "Guess the Character" game. I've got them confused as heck because I have picked Tony and when asked "Are you human?" I have to answer "No" since we all know that he's not. Anyway, thank you again and if you see Kim, thank her as well...(Man I had a crush on her growing up...)

I first saw a very young Ike in "Secret of the Pond" and instantly was taken by his maturity, emotional range and acting ability. He was so adorable and I instantly started having a crush on him. I think I've seen all of his movies and shows, including The Sky's the Limit and Gunsmoke. When I got a little older, I wrote a fan letter to him and sent it to the Disney channel hoping they could forward it to him. I never got a response so I always figured he never got it. I recently bought the "Escape to Witch Mountain" DVD and was excited to see it had commentary and other behind the scenes footage on it. I realized when I saw Ike all grown up that I had been right about my opinion of him as a child. He seems to be a genuinely sweet & caring, mature, intelligent and creative. It was also really nice to find out that he is living a happy life, and that he is still using his creative and artistic gifts. I'll always regard Ike as being one of my favorite actors!

I'm so glad I found this site. I've wondered for years whatever happened to Ike. I remember seeing him a lot when I was growing up. I think the last time I saw him was on "The Fantastic Journey."

Okay, since I've found your web site, I have wanted to thank you for the longest time, and now I have the chance. In early Oct, 1979 at Grant, we were both sitting in front of school waiting for a ride. It was probably the worst day of my life. I was scared and felt totally alone My ride showed up and I look at you, I guess I was really searching for help, and you looked at me and smiled. Your smile gave me some hope, I didn't feel quite so alone. It doesn't sound like much typing it out, but I'll never forget that moment. It meant a lot to me. Thank you.

I was just reading your page "About Us". I did not even realize we went to Jr. High together and also both studied at Otis Parsons. I went to Otis during high school though, and I was absolutely horrible, despite what my mother said. Nice site and Star Trek totally rules.

Hi Ike, I was wondering what ever happened to you. We were in the same graduating class. I was so glad to come across your web site to see you are still active in entertainment. I doubt you remember me from High school, we were both horribly shy. I'm married and living in the mid-west...oye vey. It's a long way from Sherman Oaks, but very nice. I hope you continue to do well. I'm totally going to buy Escape to Witch Mountain for my little one. God Bless!!!

Hello Ike, as you can see,we share the same last name. Not all that many people share the exact same spelling for the name Eisenmann----maybe we are related!! I was born July 13,1961 and I wish I had went into acting. I do sing karaoke in some of the clubs here in Sarasota, Florida where I live. Enjoyed your movies and acting---take care,TIM

My parents wrote "Devil Dog". And, I was in a scene, too. I was always on the set after school. I remember then, how special it was to see you & Kim together again. Maybe, because, I was 9 yrs. old. the perfect age for your past Disney movies.

Hello, The two films "Escape to witch mountain" & Return from witch mountain" have been my favorite movies of all time. Iake and Kim were a great combination of acting talent that made these films so moving. They look so much alike! I know that they are not brother and sister in real life-but they sure look like it.

I have these films on DVD-I like the audio commentary with Iake and KIm along with Director John Hough. They provide great insight on what it took to make these films. The making of documenteries also contain info on the film.

Does anyone who why Iake changed the spelling of his name-from Ike to Iake?

God Bless,
Jay

This is a compelling and fun website. I've recently re-sparked an interest in finding all the info. on the 'Witch Mountain' cast, being a fervent fan of Ike and the movies he's made since I was 8 years old. Running across the 'Escape to Witch Mountain' DVD at Wal*Mart was a pleasant surprise, and discovering that Ike took the time to do a commentary and video interview about his experiences, working with the cast and crew was truly beyond enlightening!! In short, I just want to say thank you Ike, for putting so much heart into this, and supporting the kids (grown up thirty/forty-somethings now) who wanted validation like Tia and Tony Malone!!
Peace

Hi Everybody, This is a short note to say that an update to this site is planned for within the next two months, this is mainly technical but we will be updating some sections.
One thought we had was a forum, if we get enough interest we may implement one - suggestions please (forums etc).

We've have may requests for copies of the Blair Witch Mountain Project, Sadly this was only available from the (now defunct) galaxy.com web site. If anyone did get the RAM file web would appreciate a copy.

Best Regards - Webmaster (ikefeedback@tuffnet.co.uk)
